RHO GTPases (see ARHA; MIM 165390) regulate diverse biologic processes, and their activity is regulated by RHO GTPase-activating proteins (GAPs), such as ARHGAP15 (Seoh et al., 2003 [PubMed 12650940]). GTPase activator for the Rho-type GTPases by converting them to an inactive GDP-bound state. Has activity toward RAC1. Overexpression results in an increase in actin stress fibers and cell contraction.

A synthesized peptide derived from human ARHGAP1, corresponding to a region within the internal amino acids.
A synthesized peptide derived from human ARHGAP22, corresponding to a region within C-terminal amino acids.
A synthesized peptide derived from human ARHGAP25, corresponding to a region within the internal amino acids.
Rho GTPase activating protein 25is aproteinthat in humans is encoded by theARHGAP25gene. The gene is also known asKAIA0053. ARHGAP25 belongs to a family ofRho GTPase-modulating proteins which are implicated inactinremodeling, cell polarity, andcell migration. GTPase activator for the Rho-type GTPases by converting them to an inactive GDP-bound state.
