Descrizione Azione

Arginine (Arg) is an essential amino acid in the human body and can also be absorbed in food. Natural arginine is L-type, which is alkaline and easily reacts with acids to form salts. Arginine is an intermediate metabolite in the ornithine cycle, which can promote the conversion of ammonia into urea, thereby reducing blood ammonia content.Arginine generates urea under the action of enzymes, and urea can complex with oxime reagents under strong acidic conditions by boiling. The complex has a maximum absorption peak at 520 nm, and the arginine content can be calculated by measuring the OD value at 450 nm

Lipid peroxides (LPO) are substances produced by the action of reactive oxygen species (ROS) on unsaturated fatty acids. The LPO produced by the reaction will continue to oxidize the liposomes, thereby accumulating LPO in a chain reaction. Excess LPO decomposes into highly active aldehydes such as Acrolein, Malondialdehyde (MDA), and 4-hydroxy-2-nonenal (4-NHE), causing cell toxicity and cell death. This kit provides a fluorescent probe that can detect LPO production. This fluorescent probe can react with the lipid free radicals in the lipid peroxidation pathway, so as to detect the level of lipid peroxidation in cells. The probe fluoresces red under normal conditions through photoexcitation, and the fluorescence changes from red to green with the process of lipid peroxidation. Through the enhancement of green fluorescence intensity, the production of LPO can be detected with high sensitivity.

Lipolysis is the process by which the body converts fat reserves into energy, the fat stored in fat cells is gradually hydrolyzed under the catalysis of lipase, releasing free fatty acid (FFA) and glycerin (Gly). The glycerol produced by lipolysis cannot be used by the cells themselves, and needs to be transported to the liver for further conversion into energy. The content of glycerol can reflect the level of lipolysis in the cell sample. The detection principle of this kit is to make the glycerol released by cells produce hydrogen peroxide under the catalysis of lipase, and hydrogen peroxide reacts with enzymes and chemical substances to produce specific products, which have maximum absorption at 555 nm, and OD value is proportional to the concentration within a certain range.
